What state do you live in and what is the average cost for:?
What is the fine for traffic misdemeanors such as not wearing a seat belt?
How about how much for and average speeding ticket-10 over the limit?
How much for driving under the influence of alcohol?
Just wondering our great state just upped the fines so I was wondering how we compare.
Here is the info for Colorado
No seat belt $150
Speeding 10 over $300 + $300 for every additional 10 over.
DUI $600-$1000.
Just wondering -Colorado esp. CO Springs is money hungry over 50 % of there force is motorcycle cops who only write speeding tickets, mean while crime rates climb each year and the department says them need more police intresting -just read in the paper about the new price hike on tickets and wonder how we compare to other states.

No seatbelt $25 Child under 4 not in carseat, $50.
Speeding 10 over $170. Don’t know the additional 10 over, but maximum is $700. Speeding in construction zone doubles fine.
DUI – $1,000 plus suspension. $3,000 if you refuse a breath or blood test to determine intoxication.
One change in our law – cops can pull you over soley because you appear to have a child under 4 not in a car seat. Calls are usually also placed with CPS.
