I have just been placed on the pa ard program in york county pa and wanted to know if I will be urine tested ?
I am not really worried about my probation officer as I have been told I will probably never see him again,by himself and an attorney. My original charge was a dui and I will most likely be subjected to drug and alchohol classes after an evaluation.I know they may make me blow into a tube to check for alchohol, but do they also perform urine analysis?Do they have the authority to do so?Judging by the amount of people in court with me for dui,I imagine there are alot of people that have been through this. One last thought, even if they do ,wouldnt I probably get away with the first one.Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance
Which drug are you concerned about? Alcohol? Testing can’t usually see it after 24 hours. Weed? Stays in your system up to 30 days. Meth? Have no idea, but if you’re doing anything other than the first two I mentioned, then you ought to worry – and not just about your Proby. Worry about what you’re doing to yourself.
As long as you’re on probation, you should do as you’re supposed to. Otherwise, you’ve learned nothing about the law or what got you where you are right now. By the way, I would bet on blow tube possibly but urinalysis for sure.
Best bet? Stay straight until you’re done with prob, then stay straight with the law and stay away from misbehaving.
